Call for Papers: Agro Resilience
Advancing Resilient Agriculture through Interdisciplinary Science
Agriculture today faces increasingly complex and interconnected challenges. From climate extremes to biological threats, economic uncertainties to resource constraints, building robust agricultural systems requires integrated knowledge and innovative solutions. Agro Resilience provides a dedicated platform for research that examines agricultural risks and develops strategies to strengthen stability, security, and sustainability across food systems.
We invite submissions that explore the multidimensional risks affecting agriculture and propose scientifically grounded, technologically advanced, or policy-oriented responses. The journal emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, bridging environmental science, agronomy, economics, risk analytics, and digital innovation to foster resilience from the field to the global scale.
Scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:
- Climate related risks affecting crops, livestock and agricultural systems
- Biological and ecological resilience mechanisms including stress adaptation and agroecosystem stability
- Pest, disease and biosecurity threats that influence agricultural sustainability
- Soil and water risks including degradation, erosion and resource scarcity
- Economic, market and supply chain vulnerabilities impacting food security
- Risk modelling, forecasting tools and analytical methods for agricultural planning
- Farm level risk management strategies and livelihood resilience approaches
- Technological innovation, digital tools and policy frameworks that support climate resilient agriculture
Agro Resilience welcomes original research articles, reviews, case studies, and policy analyses that contribute to the global dialogue on risk preparedness, adaptation, and agricultural transformation. By uniting diverse fields of expertise, the journal supports evidence-based strategies aligned with international goals for food security, climate adaptation, and sustainable development.
We encourage researchers, practitioners, and policy analysts to submit manuscripts that offer novel insights, practical applications, or forward-looking perspectives on enhancing the resilience of agriculture worldwide.
