Peer Review process

To ensure high-quality publications, the Academic Research Services LLC (ARSL) implements a rigorous double-blind peer review process for all manuscripts submitted to its journals:

  • Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the journal’s in-house editors to assess completeness and similarity. After passing the preliminary review, manuscripts are forwarded to one of the academic editors (regular submissions are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief; special issues or thematic collections are reviewed by Guest Editors; in cases of conflicts of interest involving these roles, manuscripts are reviewed by Editorial Board members).
  • The academic editor carefully evaluates the manuscript to determine its suitability for review based on topic and content.
  • The academic editor then assigns the manuscript to a Senior Editor(One of the Editorial Board Members).
  • The Senior Editor selects at least two qualified reviewers to evaluate the paper. Authors may recommend potential reviewers or provide an exclusion list, along with basic information to facilitate identification and contact of reviewers. The Senior Editor retains the authority to decide whether to invite reviewers recommended by authors.
  • Reviewers are required to evaluate the manuscript’s originality, methodology, contribution to the literature, presentation of results, support for conclusions, and appropriate citation of prior relevant research.
  • Based on reviewers’ evaluations, the Senior Editor makes one of the following recommendations: accept the manuscript, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, request resubmission for review, or reject the manuscript.
  • The manuscript is then submitted to the Editor-in-Chief for a final decision.

If the Editor-in-Chief recommends minor revisions, authors have a maximum of 5 days to revise and return the manuscript.

If the Editor-in-Chief recommends major revisions, authors have a maximum of 14 days to revise and return the manuscript.

  • After resubmission of revised manuscripts, the above steps will be repeated until the manuscript is accepted for publication.
  • Authors whose manuscripts are rejected have the right to file a written appeal to the editorial office within 4 weeks of receiving the rejection decision. The written appeal must include specific grounds for appeal and a point-by-point response to the reviewers’ comments.
  • The decision on appeals made by the Editor-in-Chief is final and not subject to further reconsideration.
