About the Journal
Plant Pest Interactions (PPI) focuses on the complex relationships between plants, pest insects, and plant pathogens—an expanding interdisciplinary area with high global significance. Its niche advantage lies in addressing not only pests or pathogens individually but their combined ecological and molecular interactions that drive outbreaks, yield loss, and biosecurity risks. As climate change accelerates pest migration and pathogen spread, demand for research in plant–insect–pathogen dynamics has increased sharply. This ensures strong submission volume from entomologists, plant pathologists, molecular biologists, agricultural scientists, and biosecurity researchers.
