Preprint Policy
ARSL permits authors to post preprints of their original research papers (and only such papers) on community preprint servers such as arXiv, bioRxiv, and PeerJ Preprint before or concurrently with submitting to ARSL journals. Authors retain the copyright of papers posted on preprint servers.
Authors should inform the editor of the preprint version of their submitted manuscript in the cover letter and provide any relevant accession numbers or DOIs. Versions revised based on peer review results and versions accepted for publication should not be posted on preprint servers.
After publication, ARSL encourages authors to link the preprint server article to the journal website to direct readers to access and reference the final version of the article.
